About Us
From the moment you step into our office, you will notice the caring attitude of our dedicated, professional staff members. They are trained to make sure your visit is an experience that accomplishes the goals you have in mind and that it is as pleasant as possible.You will first meet with our front desk receptionist, who will facilitate your getting in to see Dr. Sherman and will coordinate your visit with our back office staff.
The back office staff will obtain information from you prior to Dr. Sherman seeing you. She will typically take your vital signs, weight, discuss your primary concerns and make a record of your medications. She will place you in one of our relaxing exam rooms to be seen by Dr. Sherman.
Once Dr. Sherman has visited with you and you are completely satisfied with why you came to see Your Family Doctor, the nurse will assist you to check out.
During your check out process, one of our front office staff will collect your superbill and schedule you a follow up appointment if necessary.
After your visit, you may not meet our billing team, but they will be sending your claims for you to your insurance company. They will strive to make sure every possible effort is made to coordinate with your insurance.
In addition, our office manager is here to serve you and make sure you get the care you deserve. If you have any concerns or complaints we encourage you to speak with her. On a daily basis she oversees the operations of the office so that you will receive the very best of care.
